If you plan on custom ordering a warehouse mezzanine, you have a lot of options to choose from. From the decking style to overall load limit, you may feel as though you are going through a list of options indefinitely. But, one of the surprisingly hardest decisions is that of the paint color and finish.
You have a few options to choose from for your finish – and that finish ultimately will help decide how well integrated your mezzanine is into your existing warehouse. Just some of your options will include:
- Powder Coating – This is the most durable and attractive for metal products. It is used for warehouse mezzanines as well as other commercial products. Powder coats come in a variety of colors and we can even create custom colors so that your mezzanine matches your showroom or warehouse perfectly. You can also choose from various resins for a specialized look.
- Galvanized - These finishes bond directly to the metal surface where powder coating and wet sprays do not. Galvanized is dipped; therefore, you have 100 percent coverage. If your warehouse has a lot of chemicals or the mezzanine will be exposed to the outside, this is probably the best finish to choose.
- Wet Spray - Also known as a solvent-based spray, this is the best choice for industrial warehouses. Wet spraying is used on products like fiberglass and electronics. It offers a durable, attractive finish, but may not be as long-lasting as powder coating or galvanized.
