BACK TO CUSTOM ELEVATED STEEL PLATFORM

EQUIPMENT & ACCESS PLATFORMS, PROCESS EQUIPMENT SUPPORT (PIPE RACK), & TOWERS

Equipment & Access Platforms are similar but serve two distinct purposes. Equipment platforms or process equipment support (pipe racks) are designed to support a specific piece or pieces of equipment. Access platforms are designed to access controls and/or maintenance areas of the equipment. Additional structures such as training, antenna, and equipment towers, also fall under this category. Process equipment supports are used to support piping, conveyor, HVAC, and electrical.

PRE-FABRICATED NUT & BOLT COMPONENTS, CUSTOM DESIGNED FOR YOUR SPECIFIC APPLICATION

Whether your application is complex or straightforward, your requirement will be manufactured using structural steel components with nut-and-bolt construction to your exact specification. We use state-of-the-art software to collaborate with you during the design phase. We incorporate your equipment models into our software to ensure proper fit and clearances. We provide the option to have your platform partially pre-assembled before shipping to minimize field installation time.

PREVIOUS EQUIPMENT & ACCESS PLATFORM PROJECTS

Below are equipment & access platforms that were designed and engineered to the client's specific requirement. From a basic access stair & landing system to complex equipment platforms, our design team will develop the right system for your application.

Access platform to perform maintenance. Hot dipped galvanized finish, bar grating floor system, and 3 rail guardrail with a 4” kickplate.
Equipment platform in a seismic E area. This platform was designed around the client’s equipment & point loads. Hot dipped galvanized finish.
This structure is 40ft to top of deck and has 4 stairways with landings to access the platform. There is hatched door built into the floor for security. The equipment platform was customized for testing and calibration equipment and designed for weather events. The entire structure is hot dipped galvanized and the stair treads and flooring are bar grating.
This platform accesses the equipment for maintenance. The equipment is supported by concrete footings and the platform is surrounding the equipment. All the access platforms for the project are column-less and supported by the footings. This platform is hot dipped galvanized and the flooring is bar grating.
This equipment platform was designed to support controls and pipes. The flooring is concrete and shown is a guardrail system with 3 rails and kickplate.
This platform accesses HVAC units for maintenance. The equipment is supported underneath with I-Beams. The entire platform is on a roof and accessed by stairways from the roof to top of platform. This platform is hot dipped galvanized and the flooring and stair treads are bar grating.
This equipment platform is designed for a generator. Footings were poured and the structure is anchored into the footings with galvanized Hilti anchoring system. Ships ladder with pipe handrail is used to access the platform. 2” Square tube guardrail and diagonal bracing used and structure is hot dipped galvanized.
Platform for a distillery to access a 36” wide doorway. Powder coated safety yellow and open galvanized bar grating treads were used. The platform landing is 3’ x 3’.
Custom training tower for a fire department with climbing wall and caged ladder. Square tube handrail, bar grating treads and landings, Hot dipped galvanized finish.
Serves two purposes. Allows access to equipment and the ability to view operations. Pipe handrail with vertical pickets and the finish is hot dipped galvanized.
